A Northside Chicago community group focused on building real connections through mutual aid, shared meals, and neighborhood activism.
Who We Are
We're a group of Northside Chicagoans who believe that real change starts on your block. The NeighborGood exists to weave the social fabric that makes communities resilient, joyful, and just.
We don't have members — we have neighbors. Everyone brings something to the table, and everyone is welcome at it. From block parties to mutual aid drives, we show up with open hands and open hearts.
What We Do
Everything we do falls into three connected areas — each one strengthening the others.
Potlucks, game nights, block parties, group outings. We create spaces where neighbors become friends and friends become family. Connection is the foundation.
Sharing resources, skills, and time — not as charity, but as solidarity. Need groceries? Have a spare hour? We match needs with neighbors who care.
Attending ward meetings, organizing around local issues, amplifying community voices. We believe in the power of neighbors showing up together.
Get Involved
There's no application, no fee, no prerequisites. Just a willingness to be a good neighbor.
Our gatherings are open to everyone. Check our Instagram for upcoming meetups, potlucks, and community nights.
Know someone on your block who could use some community? Bring them along. The more the merrier — literally.
Everyone has something to offer. Whether it's cooking, carpentry, tutoring, or just lending an ear — your gift matters here.
Follow us on social media, tell your friends, and help us grow the village. Good neighborhoods are built one connection at a time.
